RESPONSIBILITIES:
All aspects of fundraising. Locates, manages and submits foundation grant applications per deadlines. Following up with personal communication in order to develop on-going relationship with foundations. Manages website, including updates to all types of electronic media. Manages vendors and adheres to set budget restraints. Captures video recordings and locates others associated with current cases as needed. Launches approved press releases, news alerts and e-mail blasts. Cultivates relationships with major donors and participates in the solicitation of major gifts
•Database Management – Coordinates database of contributors, grants, major donor gifts, etc… making certain all donations are categorized properly while maintaining high security and quality control. Comfortable working knowledge of E-tapestry database system. Create advertisements as needed for events, speeches and sponsors. Create marketing ideas to increase membership. Some travel involved
QUALIFICATIONS:
Fully committed to the philosophy and mission of the Law Center as described above. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. Energetic self-starter. BA degree in Sales and Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Political Science, or any other field of study which would prepare the applicant to handle responsibilities as it relates to the Culture War. Ability to maintain the Law Center’s website. Skill in word processing, data entry and computer aptitude. Familiarity with all aspects of the internet
•Exhibit strong organizational skills, strategic thinking and development initiatives. Prior experience in development is a plus. Outstanding personal and professional ethics.
